The victim was at Huruma Grounds with his friends when police officers caught up with them and started shooting at them. The victim was shot on his back and ran into a shop to hide where a police officer followed him and shot him on his neck, where he died on the spot.

Abdifatah and some friends were at Kilimanjaro Hotel in Eastleigh, Nairobi, when he received an anonymous call asking him to immediately meet a group of people outside.The people asked him to get into the cab but he declined. They turned out to be officers attached to the National Intelligence Service. That was when he agreed to get into the car. He hasn’t been seen again.
